KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - UNC Greensboro women's golf (298-300-296) had its best round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate on Tuesday, as the Spartans collected a 296 in the final round to move into a tie for ninth place with Kansas. 

Junior Tara Bettle (73-73-69) paced the Spartans in the tournament, as she finished tied for 10thplace after carding a three-under 69 in the final round. The Berlin, Germany, native birdied four times on the day against one bogey. 

Senior Louisa Tichy (73-74-73) opened the round strong with four birdies on her first nine holes before finishing the day at one-over 73. She finished tied for 29thplace. 

Sophomore Hailey Joy (76-73-74) finished the tournament in a tie for 42ndplace after ending the third round at two-over 74. 

Freshman Anna Grace Brock (76-80-87) ended the tournament tied for 105thplace while junior Sara Rydman (82-85-80) finished in 110thplace.
