Harley averaged 17.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game for the Bengals. Her season was highlighted by a triple-double of 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals in December against Eau Claire HS. She nearly had another in the next game, falling one steal shy while adding seven blocks in a matchup with Fairfield Central HS.
She tallied three double-doubles in a five-game span in early December, as the squad posted a 2-1 mark during the stretch. She topped the 20-point plateau seven times throughout the campaign, including a season-best 29 in her final contest against Westwood HS.
Harley, a preseason top-five senior in the state for the 4A class, contributed 11 points and seven boards in 17 minutes during the Carolinas All-Star Basketball Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in March. She was one of three double-digit scorers on the South Carolina squad. She also competed in the inaugural Capital City Senior All-Star Game.
She ended the year by being named to the 4A South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association All-State Team, while adding all-state honors from the High School Sports Report. She also was chosen to play for the Blue team at the Capital City Basketball Game.
She was selected as the Blythewood Scholar-Athlete of the Year and will graduate next week with a 3.6 grade point average. Harley has been honored by the Columbia Urban League and garnered her fourth-straight spot on the annual A/B Honor Roll.
Harley will be the latest edition to the Niners’ roster, which will include 11 returners and feature three players who redshirted this past season. Three of the five starters will also be back for head coach Cara Consuegra’s sixth year in charge of the program.
