Elizabeth Grubb joined the Columbia athletic training staff during the summer of 2010 as an assistant athletic trainer. She currently works with the Lions women’s basketball, men’s and women’s squash and men’s tennis teams. She previously worked six years with Columbia’s field hockey team.
Grubb arrived at Columbia after serving two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Kentucky. While with the Southeastern Conference school, she worked primarily with the women's soccer team.
The Harrisburg, Pa. native also owns experience at the NCAA Division II level as she was previously a student assistant at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. At West Chester, she worked primarily with the men's soccer, football and softball teams, along with the women's soccer, volleyball, field hockey, men's lacrosse and men’s and women's basketball squads at nearby Swarthmore College.
Over the years, Grubb has volunteered with the Special Olympics at West Chester University and helped to organize CPR Certification classes for coaches and staff while at the University of Kentucky.
Grubb graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in athletic training at West Chester University in 2008 and completed her master's degree in the same discipline at the University of Kentucky in 2010.
