HOUSTON, TX. (11/1/19) – The Arkansas State women’s bowling team is in fifth place after the first day of competition at the Track Kat Klash in Houston, Texas.
The Red Wolves finished the day with a total pinfall of 4,730 across five Baker format matches. The team averaged a score of 189.2 per game and finished with a 3-2 record.
The University of Nebraska is in first place, after going undefeated on the day (5-0) and earning a total pinfall of 4,947. McKendree (3-2) sets in second with a total pinfall of 4,858 while Sam Houston State (4-1) follows in third with a total pinfall of 4,809. North Carolina A&T (2-3) rounds out the top-four with a total pinfall of 4,746.
Saturday’s gameplay will consist of five traditional games beginning at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday's best-four-of-seven baker style matches will begin at 8:20 a.m.
