"Hey Tiger Fans,

Wow, what a week! We started on Tuesday by splitting a doubleheader with No. 2 Florida. It took a little bit of everything to beat the Gators: timely hitting, some great defense and, of course, outstanding performances by Rachele Fico and Brittany Mack. We couldn't be happier, and we knew going into the series that playing well against Florida would be a great way to go in to the weekend with a lot of confidence versus Georgia.

It is no surprise to anyone in the SEC that Georgia is a great team, and this is a series that we definitely look forward to throughout the season. I believe we are ready for all the excitement that this weekend has to bring. On Saturday, we will host our annual Family Day ceremony. This is a great Tiger tradition: all of our families get to come in and experience our life as a Tiger. I love the feeling of running out to meet my parents, siblings and their children for the National Anthem. I'm so excited for all of my teammates and our support staff that they'll get to share a special day with their closest supporters.

This also is our Senior Weekend. Oh my goodness, I can't believe the time has come for my uniform number and the numbers of my fellow seniors to be painted on the field in honor of our past four years here. The time has flown by so quickly.

As with any team, we have been through our ups and downs as a group. I wouldn't trade any of it for the world. I want to take this time to thank all of our fans, on behalf of the senior class, for being our No. 1 supporters during our careers. You have made our experience at LSU unforgettable, and we couldn't thank you enough. If you know anything about me, you know I'm slightly emotional. I know there will be many tears shed after Sunday's game, but they'll be tears of pure joy. I got to live my dream!

Now, putting all of the sappy stuff aside, let's be loud and take the series this weekend so it doesn't have to be the last time we play in Tiger Park this year.

Geaux Tigers,

Morgan
