DURHAM, N.C. – Once again the Duke women’s soccer program is being represented on a United States Women’s National Team, as former Blue Devils Imani Dorsey and Schuyler DeBree were named to the U-23 squad for the upcoming 2019 Nordic Tournament, Aug. 28-Sept. 2.

The squad will participate in the Women’s U-23 Nordic Tournament during the FIFA International Break, taking on Norway, Sweden and England. The USA will open its tournament against Norway on Aug. 28, before facing off against England two days later on Aug. 30. The USA’s final match will be played against Sweden on Sept. 2. All three matches will be played at Loughborough University in Loughborough, England, which is in the center of the country about 45 miles northeast of Birmingham.

Dorsey, a member of Sky Blue FC, has seen action in 17 contests this season, starting all 17. In 1,464 minutes of action, the 2017 ACC Offensive Player of the Year and United Soccer Coaches National Scholar-Athlete of the Year has recorded a pair of goals on 27 shots (7 SOG).

DeBree, who recently signed with Reign FC a month ago, spent the past two seasons with AC Sparta Praha (Czech Republic). The former ACC Defensive Player of the Year and United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-American captured the Czech First Division and Czech Women’s Cup twice while with the club.
