Team analysis:

The RDC Lakers is new program to the ranks of high school travel/exposure basketball.
The purpose of our program is to place student athletes that excel in the classroom and on the court in universities and colleges with high academic standards. This group of players on this years team fit the mantra of the team perfectly. “As a new program we are confident that our first group of rising seniors will meet the goal of receiving the opportunity to play basketball at elite institutions,” said Program Director Sean McLean. The RDC Lakers has a team loaded with talent. Noah Dinkins has interest from Ivy league and Patriot league schools. He has the potential as a Mid-Division I recruit. Marcotis Hall has interest from MAAC, NEC, Southern, and American East schools. Mid-level Division I recruit. Deandre Hayes is a member of a team that won the 2018 USA national prep championship. His recruitment continues to evolve, but he has the skills needed to play at the Division I level. Brandon Arnold is an emerging recruit that may ultimately have the potential to play at the Division I level. Enoch Johnson is a utility player who can affect the game in multiple ways. Jayvis Harvey is an athletic wing who can score efficiently at all 3 levels of the game. Interest from UNCG, UNCW, NCCU, FAU, and Univ of Delaware. He is a solid mid-major prospect. Jayden Smith is a member of the class of 2020. Smith is a leader at the point guard position and strong defender. He has demonstrated a great deal of growth. Gavin Byzaik is another member of the class of 2020. He is a great student and tremendous athlete.

Stat to know: The RDC Lakers, while having different names over the years, has existed for over twenty years by serving kids in Durham NC and surrounding areas by providing opportunities to play basketball at the grassroots level.
