GREENSBORO, N.C.  – Nadine Soliman records her third double-double of the campaign as UNCG women's basketball drops their Thursday night contest against North Carolina A&T by a final of 57-48.

The Spartans grabbed the early advantage in the opening 10 minutes, holding the Aggies to just four field goals and eight points in the first quarter. UNCG would take a 14-8 lead into the second period on the back of a pair of three-pointers from Alexus Willey and Cece Crudup, and would move ahead by as many as 10 before the halftime break. Soliman pulled down three boards in addition to scoring six points in the second quarter for a total of six and 10 respectively, in the first half alone. 

With a 30-26 advantage after 20, the Spartans saw their lead dwindle before the end of the third quarter, putting up just seven points on 17 shots in the penultimate term. UNCG would score the first three points of the fourth and final period, but the hosting Aggies would respond with a 13-6 run before taking the final 57-48.

Soliman finished the afternoon with 13 points and 11 rebounds, as UNCG was forced to take their fourth loss of the season. This Thursday's defeat brings the Spartans' record to 6-4 on the year, while ending a streak of 10 straight wins against the Aggies.

Three Things To Know
-- While Soliman recorded her third double-double of the season, Te'Ja Twitty came within a single board of her second this season, with 12 points and nine rebounds

-- Alexis Pitchford dished out a season-best six assists against the Aggies, while gathering three rebounds

-- The Spartans were an impressive 5-for-12 from beyond the arc in the first half against A&T but went 0-for-9 to close out the second half

Up Next For The Spartans
The Spartans stay on the road with a trip to the College of Charleston this coming Monday at 6:30 p.m. UNCG has a 24-14 record against the Cougars overall, beating the side in each of their last two meetings.
