MACON, Ga. – Heading into its final round of fall play, UNC Greensboro women’s golf (321-298) sits in eighth place at the Idle Hour Collegiate after collecting a team score of 619 through the first two rounds. The Spartans improved by 23 strokes in the second round. 

The third and final round will take place tomorrow and live stats will be available via BirdieFire.com. 

UNCG is once again being led by junior Tara Bettle (76-71), as she is currently in a tie for eighth place at three-over par. After being four-over in the first round, the Berlin, Germany, native carded a one-under 71 in the second round with five birdies. 

Next on the leaderboard for UNCG is senior Louisa Tichy (81-73), as she is currently locked in a six-way tie for 26thplace. Tichy was one-over par in the second round, highlighted by three birdies between Holes 13-16. 

Sophomore Hailey Joy (82-77) and senior Kendall Dobbins (82-77) are in a tie for 48thplace. Both Spartans began the day at 10-over 82 in the first round before carding five-over 77s in the second round. 

Rounding out play for the Spartans is freshman Anna Grace Brock (83-82), as she is currently tied for 76thplace.
