GREENVILLE, N.C. - UNC Greensboro women's golf will enter the third and final round of the Pirate Collegiate Classic in fifth place, after the Spartans on Monday collected a team score of 605 (302-303) through the first 36 holes.

Junior Tara Bettle (72-75) is currently tied for sixth place after she carded an even-par 72 in the first round before totaling a three-over 75 in the second round. In total, the Berlin, Germany, native birdied seven times on the day. 

Fellow junior Sara Rydman (75-76) posted a three-over 75 through the first 18 holes before finishing the second round at four-over par. She is amongst five competitors tied for 14th place. 

Sophomore Hailey Joy (75-78) got off to a strong start on Monday morning, recording three-straight birdies to begin the first round. In the second round, she carded a six-over 78 and is tied for 21st place. 

Freshman Anna Grace Brock (84-74) had the best second round score amongst the Spartans in this tournament, as she collected a two-over 74 with two birdies. She is currently tied for 36th place 

Freshman Anna Bowman (80-81), meanwhile, is tied for 40th place through two rounds.
