PHILADELPHIA - Averaging 21.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game last week, Saint Joseph's redshirt junior Ryan Daly has been named Big 5 Player of the Week, organization officials announced on Monday.

At Connecticut last Wednesday, Daly finished with a career-high 30 points and added eight rebounds and three assists in the Hawks' 96-87 victory over the Huskies. Daly followed with a 13-point, 10 rebound double-double, and handed out six assists, at Loyola Chicago on Saturday. For the season, Daly currently leads Saint Joseph's in scoring (19.3 ppg), rebounding (9.0 rpg) and assists (24).

Daly and the Hawks (2-2) return to the court this Thursday as they begin play at Charleston Classic with an opening round matchup against #15 Florida at 2 p.m.
