Working as student manager to head coach Jay Wright during the 2010-11 season, Thomas assisted with travel arrangements and public appearances, participated in the recruitment and scouting process for incoming student-athletes and helped maintain and assist with alumni relations.

Joining the Wildcats as a team manager, Thomas spent four seasons with the men's basketball program at Villanova, highlighted by the team's 2009 Final Four appearance.
