Game Notes Old Dominion         Marshall

> ODU (1-4, 0-1 C-USA) is coming off a 20-3 setback to WKU, while Marshall (2-3, 0-1) lost at Middle Tennessee, 24-13.

> Junior linebacker Lawrence Garner had a game-high 12 tackles, a forced fumble and tackle for loss. Defensive tackle Juwan Ross had a career-best seven tackles, a sack and forced fumble.

> Cornerback Kaleb Ford-Dement added another pass breakup, giving him eight on the season. He is second in Conference USA and sixth in FBS in pass breakups. The eight breakups is the fifth most in a single-season in ODU history.

Junior linebacker Lawrence Garner had a game-high 12 tackles in the game against WKU.

Garner’s tackle total has increased in every game this season. He is second in Conference USA with 47 tackles and tied for 27th nationally with 9.4 tackles per game.

Ross Breaks Through
Junior defensive tackle Juwan Ross played sparingly the last two years, dealing with injuries and NFL caliber players ahead of him. Getting his turn, Ross is making the most of it.

A native of Daytona Beach, Florida, Ross leads ODU with 7.5 tackles for loss and sacks with 3.5.
