What is your biggest pet peeve(s)?   When people walk slowly and take up the whole sidewalk

What part of campus do you live on?  North Campus

Do you live with any athletes? What's that like?  I live with 2 of my teammates. It's really nice because we are all on a pretty similar schedule (meaning we all try to be in bed by 9:30pm since we all get up so early for practice).

What's your favorite part of campusHands down East Campus/South Green. I lived down there for my first 3 years at UD and love how it looks as well as its proximity to everything.

Favorite class? Why?  Adapted Physical Activity (BHAN342). This class was awesome because a school for students with disabilities would come to campus once a week and we would be paired up with a student and participate in various types of physical activity with them. It was a really fulfilling experience, especially seeing the student's faces once they arrived.

Favorite professor? Why?   Dr. Michael Peterson from Behavioral Health & Nutrition. I took one of my favorite classes, Issues in Health Behavior Science, with Dr. Peterson. He challenged us to see all the sides of certain “hot topic” issues, as well as have us actively engage in discussion and ask questions. He brought new worldly topics to my attention and made me think in ways I had never thought before

What social media platform are you most active on?   Instagram

What meme describes your life best?  Not a meme, but definitely the Vine where the little girl says she's “gonna take a nap on the beach” because I'm down to take a nap anytime, anywhere

Favorite emoji?   💯  The 100 emoji ... I just feel like it can apply to so many situations

Favorite Snapchat Filter?  Geotags, not sure if they're considered filters though...

Who would you like to trade places with for a day?  Kate Middleton. I'm so curious to see what the day in the life of a royal would be like.

What actor or actress would you want to play you in a movie about your life?  Either Reese Witherspoon or Julianne Hough.

If you were a DJ, what would your name be?  DJ K-Tay

If you could live in any decade, which would you choose?  The 1920s. I find that era of life so interesting and love to read and watch movies about it. I find the whole “Gatsby” life enchanting

If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Pasta, with ice cream coming in a close second.

What superpower would you want, or what superhero would you want to be?  Shape-shifting

What cartoon character would you be?  Kim Possible

Talent you would most like to have?  The ability to learn a language really easily, I admire people who can do that.

Most memorable moment as a member of the Blue Hens? My first on-water practice of freshman year. I actually rowed out of the same boathouse in high school as we do at UD, so the first practice was really different when I was in a super familiar place, but doing an entirely different routine. Also, rapping “Lip Gloss” by Lil Mama in front of the whole team on the bus at Dad Vail/CAA weekend this past year.

Any superstitions?  I have to wear the same outfit every time we have an erg test -- purple tank top, black spandex, and black headband. I've worn the same outfit every test piece since high school. Also, on race day, I have to wear this hat that I only wear for races and put my hair in a braid.

What do you and your team do to get students to go to your games?  Considering we don't have any races super close to campus, we instead try and raise student support for rowing on our social media accounts: University of Delaware Women's Rowing on Facebook and @delawarerowing on Instagram.

What's your game-day playlist?  We usually have a long bus ride to races, so I try to listen to more chill music when we first get on to combat any nerves, and then I progressively bring out the more upbeat music the closer we get to the course.

Any pre-game traditions?  Before every race we have a meeting with our boat discussing the race that's about to happen and right before we break we shake every person's hand in the boat and say “I got your back.” I love this part of our pre-race routine because it really reinforces the team aspect that is so important in rowing.

What's the best advice ever given to you?  The best advice ever given to me was “trust your training.” It's such a reassuring motto because no matter how nervous an upcoming erg test or race may seem, you can always trust your training to pull you through.
