A Bekah Bonny goal early in the second half was the difference as the women's soccer team won at Cleveland State 1-0 Tuesday in the opening round of the Horizon League Tournament.

Bonny tallied her seventh goal of the season at the 47:08 mark of the second half as she took a feed from Adrianna Guerrero, dribbled into the box and beat Viking goalkeeper Sarah Wood with a shot to the right side of the goal.  It was Guerrero's third assist of the year.

The Wright State defense preserved the shutout from there as, despite CSU having a 13-10 shot advantage, goalkeeper Brooke McCurdy recorded six saves.

Wright State (9-7-3) now advances to a semifinal matchup Friday at 5:00 Eastern against #2 seed Detroit at Engelmann Stadium in Milwaukee.
