UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - After stellar seasons in 2011, University of Richmond Spider Football's Tre Gray and Darius McMillan were named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State teams.  Gray earned first-team honors, while McMillan was named to the second team.

An All-American selection his senior season, Gray established himself as one of the finest receivers in Richmond football history over the course of his career.  Gray led CAA Football in receptions (95) and yards (1187), both of which were Richmond team records.

The Cuero, Texas native also set Spider career marks for receptions (243) and yards (3101).  He had seven career 100-yard receiving games, six of which came in 2011.

His 16 catches and 194 yards receiving versus New Hampshire were both career highs and single-game bests in the league this season. Gray was fourth nationally in FCS in receptions per game (8.64) and sixth in receiving yards per game (107.9).

McMillan, who was named a Third-Team All-American by College Sports Madness, was a force defensively in 2011 for Richmond.  McMillan recorded double-digit tackles in 10 of 11 games this season. He highlighted his junior campaign by turning in a career-high 20 tackles in the season-finale against William & Mary. His 20 stops were the second-most in a CAA game this season.

The Hampton, Va., product finished 2011 ranked second in the league with 133 tackles and 12.1 tackles per game. McMillan led the Spiders in stops each of the last five games.
