Release: October 02, 2012
Time is running out to sign up for the North Dakota State University softball Pitching Clinic (Noon-2 p.m.) and an All Skills Clinic (2-5 p.m.) on Sunday, Oct. 7, at the Ellig Sports Complex.

The clinics are open to players in grades 7-12. The Pitching Clinic is $50, the All Skills Clinic is $75 and both clinics are $125.

The Pitching Clinic will break-down the pitching motion and present the drills necessary to increase consistency and effectiveness. The coaches will introduce different pitches, teaching the correct technique, fundamentals and drills essential for throwing them. Pitchers need to bring their own catcher.

Offensive and defensive skills and strategies will be the main focus of the All Skills Clinic. The All Skills Clinic is designed for softball players who are ready to develop their abilities for play at the next level.

Coaches recommend all participants wear softball shoes/spikes. Participants must provide their own glove and ask that your full name is on your personal equipment. Catchers must bring a full set of catching gear.

Parents and coaches are welcome to observe any and all clinic sessions. To insure everyone’s safety, we ask that parents and coaches maintain proper distance from camp activities, and also refrain from interrupting sessions in progress. The camp staff welcomes the opportunity to discuss camp activities during breaks with parents and coaches.
