Bethany Beach, DE - Brandon Shin tied for the third lowest score of the day at 70 (-2) and tied for 19th overall as Hofstra finished seventh overall at the George Washington Invitational at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club.

Hofstra shot a 300 on Saturday and finished with a three-round total of 909 to finish 43 shots off the lead.

Shin finished with a tournament score of 224 (+8) to pace the Pride. Jake Winn tied for 25th at 226 (+10) after a final round 77 (+5). Paul Bruckner finished 36th at 229 (+13) after shooting a 76 (+4) Saturday. Jonathan Farber finished 47th at 236 (+20) after shooting a 77 Saturday, while David Mecca was 54th at 241 (+25). Mecca carded an 84 in his final round.

Luke Smith, who competed as an individual, tied for 39th at 231 (+15) and shot a 79 on Saturday.

Penn won the 12-team tournament at 866 with Max Marsico posting individual honors. Marsico led from wire to wire and finished with a 212 (-4)) after a final round 70 (-2).
