Williamsburg, VA - Freshman Brandon Shin shot a team low 75 (+3) today and the Pride tallied a team score of 313 to place ninth at the William and Mary Joe Agee Invitational at the Colonial Heritage Golf Club. The Pride finished with a three-round score of 938 in the 13-team field.
Shin got progressivley better in each round, shooting 89-76-75 to finish in a 50th-place tie at 240. Paul Buckner was the Pride's top finisher, tying for 40th at 235. Bruckner shot an 80 (+8) in his final round.
Connell McNamara placed 45th at 237 following a thrid round 77 (+5). Jonathan Farber tied for 53rd with a score of 241 after an 81 (+9) on Tuesday. Luke Smith rounded out the Hofstra contingent in a tie for 62nd place at 251. Smith carded a 92 (+20) in his final round.
Longwood won the team title at 871, 26 strokes ahead of second place Old Dominion. Longwood also boasted the individual medallist in Austin Gray, who shot a 75 (+3) and finished with a three-round 217 (+1).
The Pride are off until October 24-25 when they compete at the FDU Knights Invitational.
