Miller jonied the Canisius staff in November 2009 after previously serving for
three years as Marist College's assistant director for student-athlete
enhancement. In that role, the Cheektowaga, N.Y. native was responsible for
academic advisement of probationary student-athletes, assisting in the
development and direction of the Life Skills program and oversaw career
development opportunities for student-athletes in conjunction with Marist's
office of career service. In addition to developing and implementing
gender-equity programming at Marist, Miller also met with prospective
student-athletes regarding the school's academic support services.
Miller graduated from Daemen College in 2005 with her
bachelor's degree in psychology. While at Daemen, she was a member of the
school's women's soccer team and earned honorable mention all-league honors for
her play on the field. She earned her master's degree in sport and exercise
psychology from Ball State in 2007.
