5K Walk/Run for Rider Women's Athletics

The 10th Annual 5K Walk/Run for Women's Athletics will be held on the campus of Rider University on Saturday, June 11, 2016 (rain or shine). All proceeds from this event directly benefit Rider's 10 NCAA Division I women's varsity athletic programs and the cheerleading team. The event will be held rain or shine.
Registering as a participant, making a donation on someone's behalf and/or becoming a corporate sponsor is quick and easy! Simply click the on-line registration link, which can be found at the link above and below and you can make a credit card payment via our secure site. You can also pay by cash or check (made payable to Rider University Athletics) by sending in a copy of the registration brochure form with your payment. The registration fee is $30 ($25 for kids 12 & under) and all participants receive an event t-shirt, water bottle.
New this year: Register a team of seven (7) or more and receive a discounted registration fee of $20 per person. All must be registered at the same time to receive the reduced fee.

Medals will be given out post-race to the top three finishers in each of the following categories:
Rider male student-athletes;
Rider female student-athletes;
Boys 12 and under;
Girls 12 and under; and
Walkers (only one category for all walkers).
Additionally, a team award will be given out to the top high school or track club team that registers as a group (minimum of seven). Scoring will be done similar to a cross country meet.
A "Stars and Stripes" lunch will be held on the Cranberry's Patio on campus after the race and is available for a separate fee of $10 (lunch is NOT included in the registration fee). Runners and walkers can pay on site for the lunch that day.
Corporate Sponsorships Available:
If you can't join us that day as a walker/runner, you can support the event through our corporate sponsorship program. There are various levels of sponsorships available ranging from $100 - $10,000 and it's a great way to market your company/organization. Schedule of Events for Saturday, June 11, 2016:
8:30 a.m. - Participant check-in by entrance to Alumni Gym
9:00 a.m. - Kid's Zone opens on Campus Mall with games and activities
9:45am - Welcoming remarks and Warm-up/Stretching/Yoga
10:00am - 5K Walk/Run begins
