Intercollegiate Athletics Facilities

UMKC recognizes the importance of facilities in the development of its student-athletes, both athletically and academically. Evidence of this commitment is the construction of the Durwood Soccer Stadium and Recreational Field, which opened in the fall of 2009 and the renovation of the Student-Athlete Support Services Office (SASSO). UMKC also reached agreements to use St. Teresa's Academy for track and field, and to use the Missouri 3&2 Complex as its home softball facility in the fall of 2011.
