Tony Wolodzko lettered as an offensive back and punter in 1941 and 1946-1947. He was captain of the 1947 team that went 9-2. Wolodzko was named one of the most outstanding players in the 1947 Glass Bowl game. After graduating, he served as a freshman coach in 1948. The Toledo Blade described him as "a morale player who specializes in setting up scoring opportunities." Bill Orwig, head coach of the Rockets from 1946-47, said, "Tony Wolodzko was the toughest football player I ever coached."
