At a glance: Will once again anchor the men’s epee unit after his strongest season as a Buckeye ... Brings energy and passion to the epee strip.

2007-08 Junior Season: Clinched the national title for the Buckeyes with his victory over Teddy Sherrill of Harvard at the end of the fourth day of the NCAA Championships ... Defeated Graham Wicas of Princeton and Stanley Vaksman of St. John’s at the NCAA Championships, who each led the epee group in wins and advanced to the medal round ... His 13 wins in the epee group were just 2 short of qualifying for the medal round ... With 87 career victories, he sits behind only Horanyi in career wins by an active fencer at Ohio State ... His tie for third place was his second consecutive bronze medal at the Midwest Conference Championships ... Was sixth at the Midwest Regional Qualifier ... Saw action in all three regular season events, going 27-15 against varsity opposition, tied for the best on the epee squad ... Was exemplary at the Northwestern Duals, going 16-8 in ten matches against varsity competition ... Academic All-Big Ten and an OSU Scholar Athlete.

2006-07 Sophomore Season: Finished third at the Midwest Conference Championship and qualified for the NCAA Championships with a fifth place finish at the Midwest Regional Qualifier ... Led the epee squad with a 31-11 record in 17 matches against varsity opponents, including ten wins at Penn State, an epee team high ... Finished 20th at the NCAA Championships.

2005-06 Freshman Season: Placed 17th at NCAA national championships ... finished 10th at the Midwest Conference championships ... fenced in more matches than all teammates with an overall record of 50-10 and 29-8 against varsity opponents in 13 varsity matches ... went 4-3 in the regular season against opponents who went on to place in the Top 23 in the nation, including wins over St. John’s Adam Rodney (sixth) and Ben Bratton (ninth) and Yale’s Michael Pearce (fifth).

Prior to Ohio State: Fenced for Alcazar Fencing Club ... placed third at summer nationals in 2003 in the cadet men’s division.

Personal: Son of Eric and Brenda Pryor ... siblings include Jared (23) and Taryn (18) ... enjoys writing and hopes to attend graduate school after earning a degree in journalism.
