Women's hoops to play on ESPNU

DENVER - The University of Idaho women's basketball team will see the national spotlight on Jan. 6 when its game at Nevada will be broadcast live on ESPNU, as the Western Athletic Conference announced its schedule of nationally televised games.

The network will televise three regular-season WAC women's basketball match-ups and will also air the championship game of the WAC Tournament, held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., on March 12, 2011.

In addition to Idaho's game at Nevada and the WAC championship game, ESPNU will broadcast Louisiana Tech's games at Fresno State on Jan. 13 and at Nevada on Feb. 28.

Idaho, Nevada, Fresno State and Louisiana Tech made up the WAC semi-finals in the 2010 WAC tournament.
