Stony Brook, N.Y.- Two quick goals in the beginning of the second half by Leonardo Fernandes and Antonio Crespi helped give Stony Brook the win over the University at Albany, 3-1. The Great Danes finish the season at 6-10-3 and the Seawolves improve to 9-6-3 and will play for the America East Conference Championship.
     Stony Brook in the second half came out firing after a scoreless first half. Two quick goals by Fernandes (47th minute) and Crespi (48th minute) proved to be crucial.
     The Seawolves added an insurance goal in the 79th minute by Raphael Abreu to be up 3-0.
     UAlbany looked for a potential comeback in the 79th minute when Quintel Gates hooked up with David Pinto to cut the deficit, 3-1.
     First half was controlled by the Seawolves as they outshot the Great Danes, 10-2, and 3-0 in shots on net. Stony Brook looked to go ahead in the 35th minute with a free kick opportunity by Leonardo Fernandes, but the UAlbany defense came up big with a block. Following Fernandes shot, Stony Brook's Kyle Schlesinger and Christian Quevedo put up shots of their own only to result in a block and shot sailing right.
     Stony Brook led in shots, 16-4, and in corner kicks, 4-1.
     Stony Brook's Stefan Manz recorded 0 saves on 1 chance, while his counterpart UAlbany's Adrian Foncette tallied 4 saves on 7 chances.
