Jackrabbit Softball Stadium
The newly-completed Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex adds a whole new dimension for the Jackrabbit softball team, allowing them to practice inside on the 100 yards of synthetic turf, and a high ceiling to allow for more realistic game conditions.
The $32 Million facility also includes batting cages for both the SDSU softball and baseball teams.
Located just north of the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex, the Jackrabbits played their first game in Jackrabbit Softball Stadium on April 20, 2007.
Future additions to the facility include permanent bleachers and a press box.
