In addition to a strong academic tradition in the liberal arts, JMU is a NCAA Division I school that competes in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). This is my inaugural year and I am very excited to be a part of the Track and Field program. My goal is to develop student-athletes to reach their potential both on and off the track by providing a positive and rewarding athletic experience. Our team has boasted numerous CAA champions and NCAA All-American athletes and we want to continue to receive national recognition and reach new heights with our track and field program. We are seeking talented, motivated and dedicated student-athletes to help achieve our goals. If you feel that you can compete with the pride and integrity of a Duke, please fill out our on-line questionnaire at your convenience so that we can learn more about you.

Feel free to email me at friastb@jmu.edu if you have any questions. Thank you for considering JMU and our Track and Field team as a college choice. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Go Dukes!
