GRAND FORKS, N.D.--  Lexi Klabo scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as North Dakota defeated Minnesota Crookston, 79-50, in the team's final exhibition Wednesday at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.

Klabo, a preseason all-Big Sky Conference selection, has been big in both exhibition wins, helping North Dakota to a 48-14 advantage in points in the paint Wednesday. Klabo added five blocks to her stat line in tonight's win while Fallyn Freije totaled 17 points and eight boards for the Fighting Hawks.

North Dakota led just 34-25 at the break but out-scored the Eagles, 45-25, in the second half to earn the win. UND had 30 points in the fourth quarter alone, turning the ball over just 11 times in the entire game. 

Junior transfer Melissa Dailey had another solid outing, following up 17-point effort in Saturday's exhibition win with 16 tonight to go along with six assists and a pair of rebounds. Chastity Franklin aided North Dakota's defensive effort with five steals. 

UND will head to 17th-ranked Oregon State for its regular season opener Friday at 4:00 p.m. Central. North Dakota will be playing four of their first five games away from home with the home opener coming Nov. 19 against Massachusetts.
