Boiling Springs, N.C. - Former Gardner-Webb women's swimmer Mallory Weggeman continues to succeed both in and out of the pool since competing in the water for the Runnin' Bulldogs in 2009.

As stated in the CNN article about Weggeman, "Athlete swimming to greatness after paralysis", the former Runnin' Bulldog swimmer has "smashed world para-swimming records, collect an ESPY Award, swim on an NCAA Division I college team and put herself on course for what she hopes is a historic run at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London".
