Four Huskers Earn Academic All-NTCA Honors
Four student-athletes from the Nebraska women's bowling team were named academic All-NTCA, the National Tenpin Coaches Association announced on Friday.
To be named academic All-NTCA, a student-athlete must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher for the academic school year. 256 honorees from 55 schools earned the honor this season.
Representing the Huskers on the 2018-19 academic All-NTCA Team are Allison Morris (Ann Arbor, Mich.; Accounting), Estefania Prieto (Bogota, Columbia; Marketing/Management), Cassidy Ray (Herrin, Ill.; Criminology & Criminal Justice) and Meghan Straub (Lincoln, Neb.; Journalism/English Education). As a team, Nebraska bowling finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.26 for the 2018-19 year.
Virginia State finished the academic year with the top GPA, earning a 3.64 in 2018-19.
