BAKERSFIELD, Calif.—CSU Bakersfield welcomes Seattle U to Hardt Field this weekend for the final Western Athletic Conference home games for the Roadrunners this season.

Friday and Saturday's games get underway at 6 p.m. The series finale is set for Sunday at 12 p.m. All three games will be on ESPN 1230 AM/98.1 FM with Corey Costelloe on the call. The pregame show begins 15 minutes prior to the scheduled pitch. Friday's game is on the Roadrunner Sports Network via Saturday's game is on the WAC Digital Network.

Seattle U defeated cross-town rival Washington Tuesday night to improve to 17-28-1 on the year. SU is 6-12 in WAC play. Jack Risinger is fourth in the WAC in hitting (.374). Lefty Jake Prizina (4-2) will face Max Carter (R, 8-1) on Friday night. Lefty Connor Moore (2-2) will face Andrew Hansen (R, 4-2) on Saturday. Lefty Tyler Oldenberg (3-1) should face Aaron Charles (R, 3-0) on Sunday. CSUB leads the all-time series against Seattle U 9-7.

CSUB (26-19, 11-7 WAC) dropped a pair of games to CSUN (3-2 in 10 innings) and No. 23 Loyola Marymount (8-2) to conclude the non-conference portion of the 2017 slate. Carter and Mahlik Jones are both hitting .429 for the week.

The Roadrunners are 5.5 games behind first place Grand Canyon entering this weekend. CSUB is three game back in the loss column behind NM State for second place. If the records hold, the 'Runners will face the Aggies next weekend in Las Cruces for the first seed in the WAC Tournament as the 'Lopes remain ineligible for the post season.
