Dover, Del. (Mar. 17, 2017) --- The chance of bad weather in the Norfolk, Va., area has prompted a change in the schedule for this weekend's Delaware State/Norfolk State baseball series.
The Hornets and Spartans are now scheduled to play a doubleheader on Sunday (Mar. 19) beginning at 1 p.m., and wrap up the series with a single game on Monday (Mar. 20) at noon at NSU's Marty Miller Field.
The series marks the MEAC North opener for both teams.
Delaware State has also announced that its Mar. 21 game against Drexel has been moved to DSU's Solider Field at 3 p.m.. The game was orginally scheduled to be played in Philadelphia, but moved to Dover due to poor conditions at Drexel's field.
The Hornets will also be home on Mar. 22 against Navy. Game time is 3 p.m.
