The Larry Coker Show to begin on Monday night
SAN ANTONIO — Roadrunners fans are invited to come out for fun, food and, most importantly, football on Monday, Aug. 27, when the second season of The Larry Coker Show begins on Ticket 760 from StoneWerks Big Rock Grille at The Rim (5807 Worth Parkway).
All the fun gets underway at 7 p.m. and it will last for an hour. UTSA play-by-play announcer Andy Everett will be the show's host. Fans are encouraged to submit questions for Coach Coker during the show via email to email@example.com or by calling the show's hotline at (210) 736-9760.
After next week, the show will take place on Wednesday nights with the exception of Tuesday, Sept. 11, throughout out the fall.
UTSA welcomes back 46 letterwinners and a total of 21 starters (10 offense/9 defense/2 kickers) from last season’s inaugural squad that won four contests.
The Roadrunners open their second year of play on Thursday, Aug. 30, at South Alabama, while the team's home opener will be played nine days later against Texas A&M-Commerce at the Alamodome.
UTSA enjoyed a banner inaugural season in 2011 that saw it set NCAA start-up program records for first-game (56,743) and average home (35,521) attendance.
