RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- For the second straight week California Baptist University swept the PacWest weekly softball awards as Kendall Gorham and Emma Holden were named conference Player and Pitcher of the Week.

The Lancers now have 10 such awards as Gorham wins her first and Holden takes her third as CBU clinched its first ever PacWest title last season.

Gorham helped lead the Lancers to a 3-0 week, batting .600 in three starts. She was 6 for 10 at the plate, smacking three home runs and two doubles to drive in eight total runs. Gorham had a 1.700 slugging rate and a .636 on-base mark.

Holden picked up a pair of wins last week, tossing two straight no-hitters. Holden's first no-hit performance came against Dominican to lock up the PacWest title and her second came in the first of two wins over Hope International in the NCCAA West Regional. She struck out a total of 19 batters and walked just five in her 2-0 week.

The Lancers are 45-6 overall and finished the conference season 26-4, moving on now to compete in the NCCAA National Championship in Botetourt County, Va., May 10-12.
