2016: Witmer joins the Cardinals for his first season as a volunteer assistant coach.

2015: Earned fourth letter at Ball State ... Academic All-MIVA team member ... saw action in 25 matches and 80 sets, starting in 24 matches throughout the season ... tallied 165 kills with a .229 hitting percentage ... earned four aces on the year ... marked the third-most digs on the Ball State team with 115 for 1.44 digs per set ... earend two solo blocks against McKendree on Apr. 11 and Brigham Young University on Feb. 28, as well as 49 block assists ... earned 195.5 points over the course of the season, as well as six assists.

2014: Earned third letter at Ball State ... Academic All-MIVA recipient ... played in and started 29 matches ... saw action in 101 sets ... posted two double-doubles on the season - a 10 kills/10 digs effort at IPFW (Jan. 31) and a 12 kills/10 digs outing agains Lindenwood (Apr. 18) ... tallied a career-high 17 kills against Ohio State (Feb. 26) ... posted a season-high three service aces against Lees-McRae (Mar. 14) ... got under a season-best 13 digs against Lees-McRae and registered double-digits on seven occassions ... passed a season-high 36 balls against Harvard, committing one reception error ... put up a season-best seven blocks at Penn State (Jan. 18) and tallied at least one block in the last 19 matches of the season ... earned 32 assists on the season, including three assists in four matches.

2013: Earned second letter at Ball State ... Academic All-MIVA ... played in all 27 matches, making 24 starts ... saw action in 87 of a possible 96 sets ... posted a double-double with a career-high 13 kills and 12 digs versus Quincy (Feb. 1) ... got under a career-high 16 digs versus Lindenwood (Feb. 2) ... recorded at least one dig in 25 matches, including double-digit efforts on thre occasions ... collected at least one kill in 26 matches, including five-or-more 15 times ...posted a career-high seven total blocks versus Sacred Heart (Mar. 9) ... got up for at least one block in 19 matches ... knocked in three service aces versus Lindenwood (Feb. 2) ... posted a spotless reception percentage in 12 matches.

2012: Earned first letter at Ball State ... Academic All-MIVA ... played in 24 matches, making 16 starts ... competed in 69 of a possible 95 sets ... posted double-digit kills in three matches, including a career-high 15 kills at Limestone College (Jan. 27) ... recorded his first career double-double two matches earlier with 10 kills and a career-high 11 digs versus George Mason (Jan. 20) ... also posted 10 digs at George Mason (Jan. 14) ... scored at least one kill in 17 matches, including five-or-more in nine ... collected at least one dig in 20 matches, with five-or-more in 10 matches ... recorded a career-high five total blocks versus Loyola (Feb. 2) and versus Lindenwood (Feb. 9) ... also tallied 10 kills and a pair of aces in the match versus Lindenwood ... scored at least one block in 13 matches.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters in volleyball at Naperville North for Coach Nate Bornancin . . . Led the Huskies to a 32-12 record and a runner-up finish at the Illinois State Championship as a senior . . . Sun Volleyball Player of the Year, first team all-state, team Most Valuable Player, all-Dupage Valley Conference and academic all-conference as a senior . . . Naperville North's career kills leader with 1,012, including the fourth-best single season total in program history with 411 as a senior . . . all-conference and all area as a sophomore and junior, while picking up second team all-state as a junior . . . helped the Huskies improve from 20-17 his sophomore year to 28-9 his junior campaign . . . played four years of club volleyball for Coach Dan Ames at the Naperville Volleyball Club.
