Before VMI: A four-time state finalist at Washington-Lee High School … holds school records in the 100 breast, 4x100 free, 200 medley and 200 free relays … placed third in the 50 and 200 freestyle at the 6A Virginia High School League State competition … swam for the Arlington Aquatic Club, was a junior finalist in the 50 breast … hold nine records in the 13-14 age group for the club.
