Prior to Duke: A native of the Lonestar state who was rated as the 28th-best player in the nation by TopDrawerSoccer … competed for The Woodlands High School her first two prep seasons before sitting out due to Development Academy rules … selected to the TASCO All-State Team … helped lead her squad to the quarterfinals in her last season while earning All-State, All-Region and All-District honors … rounded out her club career with the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club after competed with the Texas Rush/Houston Dash for 13 years (2005-17) … a part of the U.S. Soccer system since 2012 … invited to U.S. National Team Camps for the U-14, U-16 and U-18 squads … also took part in international friendlies with the U-18 squad in February and July of 2017 … a member of the National Honor Society her senior year at The Woodlands … also served as a member of the National Charity League and the Bluebonnets Chapter.

Personal: Full name is Sarah Nicole Piper … born Sept. 14, 2000 in Houston, Texas … daughter of Tom Piper and Anne Huber … brother, Philip, played soccer at Yale University (2012-15), serving as the team captain during his senior campaign … sister, Grace, is currently a member of the Texas A&M women’s soccer team.
