His best finish was at the McNeese Season Opener (4k) placing third in the race ... Had an eighth-place finish with a time of 20:57.60 at the LSU Invitational (4 mile) ... Ran a 5 mile time of 25:36.86 at the Joe Piane Invitational ... Notched a 45th-place finish at the Arturo Barrios Invitational(8k) ... Followed by a 67th-place finish at the SEC Cross Country Championships, running a time of 24:35.8 ... Wrapping up his freshman campaign at the NCAA South Central Regional he ran a time of 33:43.7, earning him a 66th-place spot in the race.

Competed at Fontainebleau High School … 2017-18 Gatorade Louisiana Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year … went undefeated during his senior season on his way to winning the 5A LHSAA state cross country championship with a three-mile time of 15:20.6, finishing 22 seconds ahead of the runner up … four-time all-state selection … LHSAA … 2018 state champion on the track in the 1,600 meter run with a personal-best readout of 4:18.23 … earned bronze in the 3,200 meter run at the 2018 LHSAA 5A State Championships with a time of 9:36.22 … set the Fontainebleau school record in the three-mile run (15:07.4) during cross country season … also owns the school record on the track in the 1,600 meter run (4:16.00) and the 3,200 meter run (9:33.0).

Son of Celeste and Jay Wise … has an older brother (Jared) … anticipated major at LSU is mechanical engineering … member of the National Honors Society and National Hispanic Honors Society … chose LSU because of the excellent engineering program paired with an exceptional team and coaching staff.
