PENNSAUKEN, N.J.  The University of Delaware rowing squad concluded its 2018 competitive schedule at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships Sunday on the Cooper River.

The Blue Hens finished third overall, accruing 21 points. Northeastern won its fifth consecutive championship earning 29 points. Drexel finished second with 22 points, while Villanova and Eastern Michigan tied for fourth with nine points.

Delaware opened the championships by finishing third (8:23.75) in the Varsity Four. The Hens Varsity Eight placed second (7:04.48), while the Second Varsity Eight finished third (8:23.75). Delaware closed the championship with a second-place finish (7:50.69) among the Third Varsity Eight.

Delaware’s Claire Brown and Alison Gibney earned All-CAA Honors, while Northeastern’s Joe Wilhelm earned CAA Coach of the Year.
