NEWARK, Del. – The Blue Hens continue to roll as Delaware cruised to its seventh straight victory Saturday with a 7-0 win over Mount St. Mary’s at the Delaware Field House Outdoor Courts.
The Hens (12-5) led off by sweeping the team doubles point for the second straight match and sixth time overall this season.
Junior Draga Sabotic (Okemos, Mich./Okemos) paired with freshman Sarah Whited (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) to lead off doubles action with a 6-0 victory against Mia Pittman and Megan Smith.
Delaware clinched the doubles point in the top flight as sophomore Brooke Pilkington (Virginia Beach, Va./Cape Henry Collegiate) and junior Sara Komer (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) collected their team-best 20th doubles win of the season by topping Alexa Quintanilla and Hannah Davis, 6-1.
Senior Amanda Studnicki (Normal, Ill./Normal West) and junior Sarah Hall (West Orange, N.J. (Mount Saint Dominic Academy) wrapped doubles action with the 6-3 decision over Emma Blake and Megan Gamble in the second spot.
Hall kicked of singles play with a 6-2, 6-2 No. 4 victory against Smith while senior Arielle Shuren (Montebello, N.Y./Suffern) defeated Sam Barbato, 6-1, 6-0, in the sixth slot.
Whited captured the team win in the fifth flight with her fifth consecutive victory by routing Blake, 6-1, 6-0.
Komer collected her 10th straight win in the second flight with a 6-2, 6-2 decision over Davis while Pilkington topped Quintanilla, 6-2, 6-2, in the first flight and Studnicki defeated Gamble, 6-2, 6-1, in the third.

   ·   The Blue Hens have reached 12 wins in back-to-back seasons and for the 16th time in program history.
   ·   Delaware has won seven straight matches for the first time since the 2008-09 campaign.
   ·   The Hens are 106-83 (.561) in singles matches this season with a mark of 62-40 (.608) in dual match play.
   ·   Brooke Pilkington and Sara Komer’s 20 doubles wins is good to tie for fourth in Delaware single-season history while their 28 career doubles victories are also good to tie for fourth in program history.
   ·   Sara Komer is 18th in program history with 52 career singles victories.
