Head Coach Natasha Adair
“This group is really learning how to win. This was a tough road win against a hot Hofstra team. We were very disciplined in the second half and at no point did I see uncertainty in our eyes. I thought early on Hofstra controlled the pace, but in the second half, our defense stepped up and helped create our offense. Our confidence continues to grow and the more you go through certain situations, that confidence will continue to build.”
“Coach’s key word is ‘toughness’ and even though we came out slow, we were able to pull through in the second half. At halftime she really challenged us to play Delaware basketball and be more disciplined on defense. I think we focused better on that in the second half and really played tougher.”
