CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston volleyball team recorded a 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-7) Colonial Athletic Association victory over the University of Delaware Sunday afternoon at TD Arena.

The Cougars (16-4, 5-1 CAA) won their fourth match in a row, while the Blue Hens (3-13, 1-5 CAA) dropped their fifth straight.

UD sophomore Maria Bellinger paced Delaware with 10 kills and eight digs, while Bailey Pearlman contributed seven kills on the afternoon. Abby Skryd handed out 20 assists, while Kori Rasmussen made seven digs.

Devon Rachel belted 15 kills without an error for Charleston, while Allison Beckman dished out 31 assists. The Cougars hit .474 with just four attack errors on the day.

Delaware captured the first four points of the contest and were still down just a point at 9-8 in the early going, but Charleston went on a nine-point run on its way to capturing the first set.

The Cougars led by just two points at 20-18 late in the second frame, but then won five straight points to take a two-set lead. Charleston then jumped out to a 13-3 advantage in the third stanza and cruised from there.

• Bellinger reached double figure kills for the sixth straight match and surpassed the 600-kills mark
• Skryd dished out at least 20 assists for the eighth time this year
• Pearlman returned to action after missing the previous two contests
• Charleston held a 12-1 block advantage
• The Cougars improved to 9-1 vs. the Blue Hens since joining the CAA
