NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The University of Delaware women’s golf squad fired the second lowest team round of the day with a 293 score on Saturday, moving up into a tie for third place at the Yale Intercollegiate.

The Blue Hens, who carded a 301 score on Friday, are now tied for third place out of 15 teams with a 594 total heading into Sunday’s final round. Stirling holds the lead with a 580 score, Lamar is second at 590, and the Blue Hens and Harvard are tied for third place.

UD sophomore Ariane Klotz shot a two over par 73 on the par 71, 6,008-yard Yale Golf Course on Saturday, ending the day tied for ninth place in the individual standings with a five over par 74-73-147. Classmate Isabella Rimton fired an 80 during her second round of the tournament and is tied for 20th place at 70-80-150, eight over par.

Valentina Mueller and Josefina Fernandez-Davila each carded the lowest rounds of the day by a Blue Hen, as both players recorded a one over par 72 and are tied for 29th place with a nine over par 79-72-151. Kylie Greulich, playing as an individual, is tied for 40th place with an 11 over par 74-79-153, while Ashley Dingman is tied for 46th place with a 12 over par 154.

Chloe Goadby of Stirling leads the field at two under par, while two players sit at one over par.
