Played in 27 games, making eight starts as a junior … averaged 3.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and led team with 0.8 blocks per game … had season-high 14 points at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (1/16), hitting 5-for-8 from the floor with four rebounds … posted double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in win over Houston Baptist (2/23) … had eight points and five rebounds at Wichita State (11/14) … had seven games with at least two blocked shots, including a season-high of four against Lamar (1/25).

2017-18 Season
Played in 27 games, starting 23 of them for the Bearkats as a sophomore post player … led the team in field goal percentage for those that played in enough games to qualify at 47.4 percent for the season … second on the team in rebounding at 5.5 of them per game … had 13 rebounds in a game on November 17 against Wiley College, including six of them on the offensive glass ... led the team in blocks per game with 1.3 per game and 36 total for the season, good for fourth in the SLC … had two separate games with four blocks, one on November 12 against Jackson State and another on February 10 against Lamar.

2016-17 Season
Led all Southland Conference freshmen with 26 blocks which ranked third overall among league competitors ... led team in rebounding on four different occasions and paced squad in points two times ... third on squad with 4.5 rebounds per game ... played in all 28 games including making 14 starts ... generated double-digit point totals four times including season-best 15 points against Wiley College on Nov. 18 ... one game later, grabbed 12 boards vs. UTRGV ... recorded four blocks in a game twice, coming in stretch of six games.

Tascosa High School
Named First-Team All-District 2-6A as a senior ... led the Lady Rebels with 21 points in a 60-49 win against  El Paso El Dorado for Tascosa's first playoff victory since 2001 ... McKinney was a dominant inside force, leading the Lady Rebels with 13.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1,9 blocks a game as a junior while being named a first-team All-District selection ... played for coach Betsy Baughman at Tascosa and Johnna Pointer in summer ball for Hoop 10.
