2018-19: Transitioned into the Monarchs 149 lb starter at the end of December... Posted a 28-16 overall record and a 6-6 record in duals...Made it to the 2019 MAC Finals, where he finished as the runner-up to Brock Mauller, eventual 2019 All-American... Faced four nationally ranked opponents throughout the season... 

2017-18 (Redshirt): Recorded a 23-8 record competing at 149 pounds. Finished with 16 wins by decision. 

2016-17: Posted a 21-15 record as the starting 141-pounder as a true freshman... Registered a fifth-place result at the MAC Championships, going 2-2 with wins over EMU's Kyle Springer and NIU's Angel Velasquez... Went 4-1 at the Mat Town Open, 4-2 at the Wolfpack Open and 3-2 at the Southeast Open... Defeated NCAA qualifier Mason Smith from Central Michigan during the regular season. 

Prep: Two-time NHSCA National Champion, earning titles in the freshman and sophomore divisions... Placed three times at the prestigious Beast of the East... Three-time National Prep runner-up and four-time placer... Three-time Powerade placewinner... Took sixth at the Ironman twice... Placed sixth at Super32 in 2014. 

Off the Mat: Born June 9, 1997... Son of Mike and Sandy Budock... Has one brother, Michael... Major is undecided.
