2016: Named Conference USA’s Pitcher of the Week on April 11th … Made 23 appearances with four starts earning a team-best five wins going 5-2 with a save and 3.79 ERA … named C-USA’s Pitcher of the Week after throwing the final 7.1 innings in the 49ers historic 15-inning win at #12 Florida Atlantic on April 10th … getting out of an eighth-inning jam, the left-hander went on to allow just two hits, strikeout six and help the Niners earned a 7-6 victory in his third win of the season … first win came back on February 27th in game two against Toledo going 3.2 innings while his second came in the C-USA league-opener against FIU getting the final out in the ninth … moved to 4-1 on the year after a career-high eight innings in his first of four starts to round out the year against Old Dominion … fifth win came a week later after seven more solid innings at UTSA on May 14th … fanned a career-high seven hitters on March 12th vs. Fairfield … worked a total of 61.2 innings, third-most on the staff, allowing just 26 earned runs with 43 strikeouts … named to Conference USA’s Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
