2016-17: Member of the V8 squad … Captured the Carolina Cup championship with a time of 6:41.3, more than 13 seconds faster than second-place Clemson … Helped Duke win the Carolina Cup with 99 overall points and a sweep of all five races … Named the ACC Crew of the Week following the performance at the Carolina Cup … Qualified for the A Final of the Longhorn Invite and came in fourth with a time of 6:24.204 … Earned a trip to the A Final after placing third in the morning race, clocking out in 6:19.405 at the Longhorn Invite … Rowed to a third-place performance against No. 4 Ohio State (6:20.0), No. 3 Michigan (6:24.8) and Notre Dame (6:32.1) with a time of 6:29.8 … At the Clemson Invitational, earned a third-place finish in the B Final … The top four boats in the race were separated by just more than one second with the Blue Devils crossing the line in 6:34.468 to trail UCLA (6:33.454) and UCF (6:34.350) and hold off Oklahoma (6:34.525) … In the Clemson Invitational preliminary events, placed third in its opening heat (6:30.454) and fourth (6:33.516) in the other heat … Ended the regular season at the Dale England Cup, taking fourth with a time of 6:44.6 to trail Indiana (6:35.6), Notre Dame (6:39.2) and San Diego (6:43.55) … In the ACC Championship Grand Final, claimed fourth in a loaded race, crossing the line in 6:27.267 … Landed in the Grand Final of the conference championships after claiming second in the morning session’s opening heat with a time of 6:44.743, trailing only Syracuse’s 6:43.756 mark … named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2015-16: Made an immediate impact on the program as a member of the top boats throughout the season … opened the spring with the race-winning V8 at the Carolina Cup as the boat finished in 6:29.8 for the eighth-fastest time in program history … rowed with the V8 again at the Pac-12 Challenge, helping the boat to a pair of second-place finishes with times of 6:36.7 and 7:04.5 against UCLA and Stanford … at the Virginia Dual, V8 took second in 7:19.2 … helped the Blue Devils tie for first overall at the Dale England Cup with No. 14 Indiana and No. 17 Notre Dame … at the Cup, V8 placed third in two races, clocking times of 6:53.1 and 6:44.9 … ended the regular season at No. 9 Princeton as the boat took second in 7:03.3 … a member of the V8 for the ACC Championship as the boat placed second in a year-best 6:20.444 mark in helping Duke to a second-place overall finish, its best at the event since 2006 … V8 entered the event as the No. 5 seed and outrowed the competition to come in second, with a photo finish ahead of Syracuse … during the program’s first NCAA Championships appearance, with the V8 that placed 18th overall, finishing the C Final in 6:31.650 … crew also placed second in the C/D Semifinals (6:32.862) … in the fall, rowed with the V8 and V4 at the Princeton Chase and Rivanna Romp … placed 17th at the Chase with the V8 in 15:31.203 and third at the Romp in 13:21.9 … with the V4, came in fifth at the Chase (17:29.372) and also fifth at the Romp (15:03.6) … in the summer of 2016, was a member of the inaugural class of the Rubenstein-Bing Student-Athlete Civic Engagement (ACE) Program … traveled to China to contribute to the sustainable development of underserved communities through sports and environmental science education as part of the program.
