2016: Qualified for the NCAA Fencing Championships as a freshman, placing 14th in men’s epee … named the ACC Fencer of the Year for Men’s Epee … led the men’s epee team with a record of 52-22 … one of six Blue Devils to surpass the 50-win threshold in 2016 … placed eighth in men’s epee at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional and ninth at the ACC Championships … in the team portion of the ACC Championships, logged a ledger of 6-2 … won at least 60 percent of his bouts at each regular season meet … won a season-best 20 bouts at the Northwestern Duals … finished 9-3 in front of the home crowd at the Duke Meet … debuted for the Blue Devils with an 8-4 performance at the Penn State Duals … went 9-6 at the Philadelphia Invitational.
