Harmony, Fla. – Stetson’s men’s golf team bounced back on Tuesday in the final round of the Harmony Golf Preserve Intercollegiate, but was unable to make up ground on tournament leaders to finish fourth in the five-team tournament.

The Hatters opened the event on Monday with a one-over par 289 in the first round, but slipped to 297 in the second round to fall behind Florida Atlantic for third place. Stetson finished on Tuesday with a 291, but FAU was able to hold the Hatters off by completing play with a 289.

Fellow sophomore Dustin Dingus finished with an even par 72 on Tuesday to tie for eighth place, two shots behind his teammate.

Freshman Eliott Azoulay had his best finish of the year, earning a tie for 15th thanks to his final round score of 73. His eight-over par score of 224 put him in a group of four players.

Sophomore Andrew Peterson was one shot behind Azoulay, in a tie for 19th place, after finishing at nine-over par 225.

Junior co-captain Matt Taylor bounced back from a tough second round to post his second 73 of the event on Tuesday. He finished the tournament at 12-over par 228 in 24th place.
